Virginia McKinney

Virginia McKinney, 82, passed away on July 10, 2024 at Tucker Hospice House. She was born on May 23, 1942 in Detroit, MI to the late Harold and Elaine Kelly.

She was preceded in death by husband, Donald E. McKinney, father, Harold Kelly; mother, Elaine Kelly; grandson, Jesse McDermotte; daughters; Sheila Anderson and Sherri McDermotte. 

Virginia is survived by her two daughters Valorie Joy McKinney, Pamela Goodwin; two sons, Jeffrey Donald McKinney, Christopher Mark McKinney; two grandsons, Josh McManus, Tripp McDermotte; two granddaughters, Crystal McManus(Derrick), Brianna McKinney; two great-granddaughters, Autum Harbour, Izzabella Long, and host of extended family and friends.

Her strong spirit and refusal to ever give up will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 14 2024 at 2:00pm at Victory Temple Church in Concord NC with Pastor Gary Posey, officiating.
