Vernon George McKenny

Vernon George McKenny born November 9, 1940 passed away on July 15, 2023 from complications of dementia.  He is proceeded in death by the love of his life Faye Jean Shoemaker McKenny in 2017, and both his parents George DeWolf McKenny and Alice Vivian Shuler.  He is survived by his daughter Heather Marie McKenny Kreger and her husband Kenneth Kreger, son Mark Erik McKenny and wife Jill McKenny, and 4 grandchildren Jennifer Kreger Hoyer and husband Alex Hoyer, Jessica Kreger, Erik McKenny, and Molly McKenny.  

Vernon was an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) fellow, inventor and validator of semiconductor patents.  He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, and a strong supporter of his political party.  He and Faye had many adventures together seeing the different parts of this world, and now they can see it all together again.
