Vernice Goins Meadows

Born March 11, 1938, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Goins, husband Ralph Meadows, Sons Ricky and Scott Thomas, Brother Clyde Goins, and sister Cecelia Donathon.

She is survived by and will live in the hearts of her three daughters Vickie Doby (Ricky) of Dobson, NC Dawn Tysor (Jack) of Advance, NC, Tabitha Walter (David) of Concord. NC, Nine Grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a sister Edna Idol.

Known to many as “Granny” she enjoyed spending time with her family & friends. She retired from the License Plate Agency at Parkway Plaza in Winston Salem at the age of 80.

Momma, you will be deeply missed and loved for eternity. Spread your wings and fly high!
