Roger Michael Hill

Roger Michael Hill, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 11th, 2023 at his home in Concord, NC at the age of 72, surrounded by his loved ones.

Roger was born on July 12th, 1950 in Roanoke, VA to Clarence and Doreen Hill. He was one of three brothers; Robert and Raymond Hill. His brothers Rober and Raymond along with his daughter Reagan Hill have preceded him in death. Roger graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. He spent most of his life as a Project Manager in Commercial Construction.

Roger was a man of many talents and passions in life. He enjoyed carpentry and gardening as much as he adored good red wines from California. He liked to create things and took pride in his ability to provide for his family.

Roger married the love of his life Cris Hill in 1977 and was married to her for 46 years were when he passed away. Roger had a son Richard Hill and wife Deandra, who gave him two beautiful grandchildren, Ripley and Wren.

Roger will be remembered by those who knew him as a quiet but loving man who always put his family first. He was looked up to by many for his problem-solving skills, even if he rarely spoke up about them. When he did speak up it was always something profound or funny that brought joy to those around him.

Those close to him will miss him greatly and cherish the memories they shared with him forever; His memory will live on through everyone who loved him.
