Robert Andrew Sciranko, known to many as Quality Bob or QB, passed away on September 25, 2023, at Atrium Cabarrus in Concord, NC. He was born on September 19, 1945, in Central City, PA to the late Andrew and Elizabeth Sciranko.
Along with his parents, he is proceeded in death by his wife Sandra and his daughter Ashley.
Robert's impact reached far and wide. His warm and inviting nature made everyone feel like a friend, even if they had never met him before. People were drawn to his infectious smile which could light up any room. He possessed a "life is good" attitude that radiated positivity wherever he went.
Known as Quality Bob for his ownership of Quality Transmissions in Waldorf, MD for over 30 years, Robert was a man of integrity and excellence in his work. He took pride in delivering top-notch service to his customers and built a reputation that was second to none.
Beyond his career achievements, Robert will be remembered for the incredible person he was. Describing him with mere words feels insufficient because he was truly larger than life. He had a heart that overflowed with love and treated everyone as if they were family.
Whether he was sharing stories with the skill of a gifted storyteller or offering genuine care and support, Robert had the uncanny ability to speak directly to your heart. Many considered him a hero, a beautiful soul who knew how to love people well. To those who knew him closely, he was not only a friend but also a second father figure who filled the gaps in their lives.
Robert's devotion extended beyond his immediate family. He adored his wife Sandra and loved her with the kind of unwavering passion often seen in Hallmark movies. As a father, he embraced the joys and challenges of raising children with unwavering dedication. His sons' friends found solace and guidance in him, benefiting from his wisdom and gentle guidance.
His love for fast cars was palpable, and he even indulged in the thrill of racing them. It was a testament to his adventurous spirit and zest for life. However, those who knew Robert understood that his true passion lay in the people he loved and the memories they created together.
Robert leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, woven into the lives of his surviving family members and friends. He is survived by his sons Andrew Sciranko (Kimberly) and Dale Sciranko. His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren Kennedy Leigh Sciranko, Kevin Sciranko, Brittany Wilburn and Christian Kurland, as well as six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his immediate family, Robert's sisters Nancy O'Ship (John) and Cyndi Findley (Jack) mourn his loss. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews Michael O'Ship, Mark O'Ship, Denise Findley, Tracey Findley, and Eric Findley. His two faithful canine companions Marvel & Church were recipients of his boundless affection.
Robert Andrew Sciranko's life was a testament to love, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to family. He lived each day with contagious happiness that left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though we mourn his passing deeply, we celebrate the incredible person he was and find solace in the beautiful memories he leaves behind. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
