Ray Edward Hatley

Ray Edward Hatley, 80, of Harrisburg, NC passed away on March 14, 2023 at his home.

Ray was born on May 27, 1942 in Charlotte, NC to the late Edward Alexander Hatley and Nell Rae Griffin Hatley.

Along with his parents Ray is preceded in death by daughter Sherry Stith.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years Carol Hatley, daughter Debra Lynn Hatley, son Bruce Edwards (Dana), granddaughters Gabriella Edwards and Christine Stith Morledge, grandsons Norman Winnie (Erin Donohue), Scott Allen Winnie, Jr. , Justin Edwards and Steven Stith, brother Ken Alexander Hatley (Carmen), Nephew Alexander Hatley, Niece Margo Hatley and doggie companion Dolly.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved NASCAR. He was a Dale Earnhardt fan. Ray was always up for a trip to the beach with his family. He loved camping at Myrtle Beach with them. Ray will be greatly missed.
