Randall Lee Hester

Randall "Randy" Lee Hester, 70, passed away February 13, 2017 after a long, courageous and hard fought battle with cancer.

Randy was born November 30, 1946 in Charlotte, NC and graduated from North Mecklenburg High School. He retired from Bell South after 35 years of service while living in Wilmington, NC.  Randy loved living near the ocean and was a NASCAR fan.  He was a Mason and a member of the Sudan Drum and Bugle Corps.

Randy is survived by his loving wife Carmen Calderon Hester, his mother Wilma E. Moore, two sisters Becky Hester and Lynne Frick (Stan), daughter Tracy Leigh Dudley, 2 nieces, 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Harrisburg Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 18 from 10:00 until 12:00pm.  A memorial service for Randy will begin in the Chapel at 12pm officiated by Rev. Tim Bostick.  Interment will follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
