Nichole Hale

Nikki Hale, 52, of Harrisburg, NC passed away on October 31, 2020 following her fight against Pancreatic Cancer.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Dean Hale; her daughter, Megan Hale; her son, Drew Hale; her siblings, Shari Pritchard, Don Belch, and David Belch; and many other close friends and family members.

Nikki was born in Charlotte, NC on September 10,1968 to the late Don and Bobbie Belch. She graduated from Appalachian State University in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in business. During her time in college she met her husband, Dean, and they were married in 1991 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Kannapolis, NC. 

While many know Nikki for her creative talents, she began her career in Human Resources at Interstate/Johnson Lane and later spent 14 years as a benefits consultant with Arhens Naef Consulting. Throughout the years, many of her co-workers have become dear personal friends.

While working and raising her family, Nikki also showed remarkable talent in many creative endeavors. She was able to capture countless beautiful memories with her camera, as a photographer. Nikki continued to bring joy to others with her artistic abilities through her home décor creations. Furniture pieces that she was able to bring back to life through her paint and refurbishing can be found in many homes.

Nikki’s greatest talent was the ability to make others feel welcome. She could always be found in the kitchen cooking your favorite dish or acting as a comforting friend to ease you through all of your troubles. Even the smallest moment or minute success was an event to be celebrated in her eyes. Her warm nature made her house a second home to numerous individuals, earning her the title of “Momma Nikki” to so many.

A private memorial service will be held on November 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Harrisburg Funeral & Cremation. 

Memorial Donations may be made to the Nikki Hale Memorial to fund research and help individuals fighting Pancreatic Cancer.
