Nannette Page, 91, passed December 7, 2017 at Avante in Concord, NC.

She was born July 15, 1926 to the late Arthur and Irene Page in Niagara Falls, NY.

Zellonis; grandsons Michael D. Zellonis and Mark Matson; brother Tommy Page; sister Honey Scott; cousin Peter Page (Christina).  She is also survived by her beloved Gilbert and Crawford cousins who were her second home and borrowed grandchildren for years while she waited for her own.

She is predeceased by three children, John Templeton, Pamela V. Templeton and William Templeton.

Nannette was a proud graduate of Stella Niagara High School, Stella Niagara NY in 1944.  She achieved her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from D'Youville College, Buffalo NY in 1970 and her Masters in Education from Niagara University, Niagara University NY in 1977.  She was an operating room nurse at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for many years until she was recruited by Niagara County Community College to create the surgical technologist program which she ran for over 20 years, was nationally recognized and continues to this day.  Nannette was an active member of the Association of operating room nurses and traveled extensively for them.  Nannette was passionate about pursuing education, she often said "Get your education, it's the one thing no one can ever take from you."  Hundreds of her students went on to the highest levels in the medical field, much to her great joy.  She was an active member of St. Marys of the Cataract Roman Catholic church for many years, being a lector at the masses and bringing communion to the shut in's.

Nannette adored her grandchildren and loved caring for them.  She loved her pets, shopping, wonderful food, the arts, her nursing profession and she was remembered by all who met her.  She lived life to the fullest and was thought of as a larger than life kind of woman.
