Nancy Kay Sherrill

Nancy Kay  Sherrill, 76, of Concord, NC passed away on September 29, 2018 at Atrium-Northeast.  Kay, as she was known, was born on February 18, 1942 to the late Charles and Kathryn Sherrill in Newton, NC.

Along with her parents, Kay is preceded in death by her sister Betty Bryant and brother Bud Sherrill.

She is survived by her nieces Kitty Pennell of Concord, NC and Donna Cobis (Steve) of Jacksonville, FL; great niece Amy Alexander; great nephew Ian; great-great nephew Aiden; great-great niece Lia, and a host of family and friends.

Kay enjoyed a long career of 35 years as a hairdresser in Charlotte, NC. She was described as a jokester and spunky. Kay enjoyed the company of others and will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-5 pm on October 21, 2018 at Westford United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be make to the Susan G. Komen  in Kay's honor.
