Mary Anne Teresa Dever

Mary Anne Teresa Dever, 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 7, 2017 in Charlotte, NC.

Mary Anne was born November 11, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY to the late James and Catherine Carrano. 

She is survived by her husband Robert Dever, daughters Tara Jean and Audra Ann (Christopher), brother John Carrano (Lauren),  several cousins, nieces and nephews and her grandchildren Angelina Kathryn, Shannon Dever, Tiffany Rose and James Joseph.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Lovingly called Nonna by her grandchildren, Mary Anne enjoyed spending time with her family.  She believed a home was supposed to be a place for friends and family to gather and enjoy time together. Her home was filled with laughter everyday!  She always gave sound advice to help her family and friends navigate through life a little easier.  
Mary Anne loved horses, watching mystery movies, decorating her home with her own handmade creations, hosting parties and spoiling her family with love and affection.  Her smile could light up a room, her eyes were larger than life, her spirit was captivating and her laugh was infectious.  

The family will hold a private funeral mass at St Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church on March 9, 2017.
