Martha "Cathy" Addington

Martha “Cathy” Addington, 71, passed away on January 4, 2022 in Mooresville, NC. She was born to the late Rudolph and Loriee Jackson on August 25, 1950 in Jacksonville, FL.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Addington; cousin, Charlotte Gregory; and beloved dogs Patches and Angus..

Cathy is survived by her loving son, Jack Hester; granddaughter, Madison Hester; and beloved dogs Diamond and Luna.

Cathy was known as a very kind and joyful person. She enjoyed a good conversation and never met a stranger. She loved learning about people and making new friends. Cathy was often seen wearing red, her favorite color; crocheting; and enjoying time with her son, Jack.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 1:ooPM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home located at 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.Harrisburg Funeral & Cremation (704-781-5665) is serving the family of Mrs. Cathy Addington.

RIP Cathy. You will never be forgotten. I am so sorry for your loss Jack and Madison. Cathy was always fun to be around especially when she and Charlotte, and me would go to Walmart. Cathy would be in a scooter and she never met a stranger. She would talk and joke with everyone.I love you Cathy RIP

So sorry Jack and Madison on the loss of your Mother and Grandmother.I really. Enjoyed the visits,dinners and holiday time spend with Cathy.She became a good friend will miss her a lot.
