Lisa Rush

Ms. Lisa Bowman Rush , 61, passed into the more immediate presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

Lisa was born to Mr. Oscar Newell Bowman and Ima Jean (Clodfelter) Bowman on September 27, 1959 in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She was a graduate of Parkland High School, Class of 1977, and attended the Community College of Aurora, Colorado. Lisa studied both Psychology and Management, and spent the majority of her working career in the fields of banking and accounting. Lisa enjoyed gardening, interior design, and cooking.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Rush, as well as her mother and father.

Lisa will be greatly missed by her family and friends, both near and distant, who will remember her for her strength in character, and the great love and care she showed to all.

Lisa is survived by her step-mother, Judy Bowman, her son, Chase O’Brien (Hannah), and granddaughter, Harper. Lisa also leaves behind her sister, Kimberly Hayes (Kenny), two brothers and step-brother, Rick Bowman (Angie), Dennis Bowman, and Aaron Belt, as well as several nieces and nephews

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Harrisburg Funeral & Cremation located at 3840 NC Hwy 49 S, Harrisburg, NC 28075.
