Levelle D. Mitchell passed on Saturday, November 28, 202o in Concord, NC. He was born in Morristown, NJ on November 20, 1986 to Tracy Mitchell and Keith Christian. Levelle grew up in Morristown, NJ where he attended public schools and later attended North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC. It was at North Carolina A&T in 2005 where he met his loving wife, Nafeesha Mitchell and began a budding friendship that lasted ten years prior to the start of their journey to becoming husband and wife. He was known for his humorous personality, caring heart, and love for food, family, friends, and laughter. Levelle was an avid sports fan and spent much of his time tuning in to ESPN and rooting for the L.A. Lakers and Oakland Raidersâeven though rumor has it that he may have entertained becoming a Charlotte Panthers fan. Levelle was the brains of all things pop-culture and in his spare time enjoyed hosting parties and dreamt of owning his own nightlife venue. He spent his career in the healthcare industry and was on the path to becoming a sommelier as he took an interest in wine history and viewed this as a path to pursuing his dreams.
Levelle was a proud girl dad and spent nearly every waking minute of his life being the best father he could be to his two daughters. Whether it was morning bowls of Cheerios and cartoons, weekend waffles and bacon, or Saturday Soccer Shots and Aqua Tot classes, he was determined to be an amazing father and the epitome of the type of husband he would one day want them to have. Levelle would often say, I want my girls to be set for life and be able to do whatever they dream.
Levelle is survived by his wife, Nafeesha Mitchell and their two daughters Baylee Brielle (2.5) and Brooke Olivia (1) Mitchell of Concord, NC; his mother, Tracy Mitchell of Morristown, NJ; his father Keith Christian of Netcong, NJ; and host of aunts, uncles, cousins; and a wealth of memories of good times with family and friends.
Levelle is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mildred Mitchell-Friday.
Levelleâs family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support during this extremely difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be submitted through GoFundMe at http://gf.me/u/zazptp.
