Letha Lynn Hall-Hunnicutt, 70, of Hoschton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at her daughter’s home in North Carolina after a courageous battle with cancer.
Letha was born on November 24, 1951 to Owen and Betty (Wroughton) Hall in Detroit, Michigan. After she graduated from Ernest W. Seaholm High School in 1969, she earned two Associate’s degrees. She went on to work in advertising for BBDO Detroit as a Talent Coordinator. Letha met the love of her life, Jerry, while working at BBDO. Together they enjoyed living life to its fullest.
Letha’s hobbies included making custom glass bead jewelry that was featured at Saks Fifth Avenue, she loved artwork and jewelry, and she had a deep love for her cats.
Letha had a passion for traveling, fine wine, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered by many for her kind heart, hospitality, creativity, outgoing and fun personality, her beautiful eyes, and smile. She will be missed by so many who loved her.
Letha was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Hunnicutt, her parents, Owen and Betty (Wroughton) Hall, and her brother, Frank Hall. She is survived by her daughter, Leanne (Eugene) Wooten, her step-daughter, Carrie (Andrew) Hontz, her step-sons, Matthew (Kelly) Hunnicutt and James (Emily) Hunnicutt, her grandchildren; Brooke, Porter, Caroline, Ella, Luke, and Jaks; and many close friends and extended family.
Letha will be honored at a small celebration of life with her closest family and friends in the mountains of North Carolina during her favorite time of year, springtime. Her ashes will then be joined with her husband, Jerry, in a private ash scattering in the mountains.
