Lawrence Nathaniel Green Jr, of Charlotte NC passed away on December 10, 2022.

Lawrence was born in Queens, NY on October 5, 1990.

Lawrence is survived by his parents Tammy Burwell, Lawrence Green, his daughter Nevaeh Green, brothers Isaiah Burwell and Gerard Worthy, sisters Ashley A Williams, Savannah Green, grandmother Christine Burwell, grandfathers Ronald Burwell Sr and Lawrence Green Sr, uncles Ronald Burwell Jr, Da'Mein Burwell, Tracy Green, Eryk Green and Je'Lani Burwell, aunts Stephanie Boyd and Kasuni Burwell and a host of cousins and friends.

Lawrence was a well-known up-and-coming Rap Artist known as "Proper DaDon" in the Charlotte NC and NY area. He was very passionate about his music. You could hear the passion and pain in some of his songs, as he took you on a journey in his music. He had this energy about him to uplift all those around him. He had a heart for giving and helping anyone that needed some type of help. He had an aura about him that drew people to him. He made friends were ever he went. Those that were fortunate enough to get to know him always had great things to say about him. We know he has left an everlasting memory behind.

The family will hold a public visitation and funeral service on Thursday, December 22, 2022. Visitation will begin at 1PM with funeral service following at 2PM. Services will be held in the chapel at Raymer-Kepner funeral home. Harrisburg Funeral & Cremation is handling the services for the Green family. If you have any questions, please call 704-781-5665. The chapel is located at 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.

Interment for Mr. Green will be 1PM Tuesday, December 27, 2022 , at Charlotte Memorial Gardens (7632 Hood Rd, Charlotte, NC 28215).

Butterfly am I, velvet blue the sky. Oh how I love to sing and dance, high above the clouds I dance reaching out to hold your hand. Like a diamond in the sky always shinning, full of bling. An angel awaits me at the gate a date I cannot for sake, the smile on my face beams like the sun, I must go now to share the joy that you gave me. Do not cry for me for I will always be with you. Tell everyone about me, how I loved, how I cared and my dreams but most of all  tell the little girl that calls me daddy and the woman that called me son my heart will always belong to you. My spirit will watch over you and every time the wind blows you will feel my hand caress your cheek as I flap my wings in flight dancing to a melody that I love to sing.
