Lanny Scott Corwin

Lanny Corwin, 69, passed away at his home in Harrisburg, NC on Sunday, May 07, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Born on January 8, 1948 and raised in the Hialeah suburb of Miami, FL,  Lanny enjoyed a wonderful life filled with humor and love.  While attending high school at Hialeah High, he met his bride, Jill Bibeault and shortly after graduation they were married.  Thus began their journey of nearly 50 years together.  First, in Miami, FL, then Melbourne, Fl and finally Charlotte, NC.  Lanny spent a career in the culinary arts, and upon his retirement, found further joy in golfing and traveling the world with his wife while discovering a love of photography.

Remaining to honor and remember his love are Lanny's wife, Jill, his brother Mike (Dru) Corwin, his nephew, Shaun Corwin, his sisters in law, Lois (Doug) Peacock and Dianne (Ed) Sullivan along with his niece, Christine Kelleher and her two children, John and Kathleen.  Lanny was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Betty, and his son, Eric.

Services will be held in Melbourne, FL at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Charlotte Region, NC.
