Kerrell Leon Parker(33)- cherished son, brother, uncle, nephew, loyal friend and Indianapolis Colts fan passed away on May 26, 2023 in Charlotte, NC. He was born on August 17, 1989 in Brooklyn, NY to Kelvin Parker, Sr. and Margie Martin Parker. A recent graduate of Post University obtaining a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Information Technology and going on to achieve his dream job at TIAA CREF as an IT Tech, he made everyone around him proud.
Kerrell had many hobbies throughout his life but none were as close to his heart as playing video games and watching his favorite team “the Indianapolis Colts” play. He found solace in gaming and could often be found lost in a virtual world.
Kerrell had a warm smile that lifted the spirits of everyone around him. He made friends easily and always went out of his way to help someone in need. Kerrell sure had a way to make you laugh. You just knew that when he was around a joke would be said, a smile will be cracked, and a good time would be had. He would always light up a room especially with his signature introduction "Its Rello". He was such a kind and caring person, and one thing was for certain is that he loved his family.
Kerrell was predeceased by his parents Kelvin Parker Sr. and Margie Martin Parker, and his grandparents Haddie Dicks and Leon Martin, and Eleanor Parker. He is survived by his brother Kelvin Parker Jr. (Shanique Parker), sister VanJaya Johnson (Roahjay Johnson), nieces Brooklynn Johnson and Amari Hines, nephews Z’yaire Parker, Malique Adamson and Cardell Hines, grandfather James Parker (Eleanor Parker-predeceased), Godfather Samuel Williams, Godmother Loretta Taylor-Bennett (Bunnie) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. We extend our deepest condolences to all of Kerrell's family members and friends during this difficult time.
We will miss Kerrell dearly but take comfort in knowing that he is at peace. His legacy will be remembered by all those whose lives he touched.
