Kenneth Anthony Bicki, known to his loved ones and friends as Kenny, passed away on November 29, 2023, in Concord, NC. He was born on August 24, 1943, in Putnam, CT to the late Pondu and Virginia Bicki. Kenny had a dynamic and fulfilling life that left an indelible impact on those who crossed his path.
Kenny graduated from the Leland Powers School of Broadcasting. Outside of his professional life, Kenny pursued various hobbies and interests that brought him joy. One of his great passions was collecting vintage Lionel trains, which showcased his appreciation for history and craftsmanship. In addition to this unique hobby, he also found solace in the world of music as a talented DJ. His ability to read a crowd and create unforgettable experiences through music was truly remarkable.
Beyond these hobbies, Kenny dedicated himself to powerlifting and even embraced the role of training others in this discipline. His commitment to physical strength echoed his unwavering determination in all aspects of life. Whether it was lifting weights or empowering those around him to push their limits, Kenny's perseverance knew no bounds. Time at the gym was not just for building muscles; Kenny built lasting friendships as well.
Of course, amidst all his accomplishments and passions, Kenny's greatest source of joy was always his family. He took immense pride in being a father to Jimmy Bicki and Jennifer Schiellerd. As a devoted father-in-law to Beth Bicki and Ted Schillerd respectively.
Moreover, nothing brought more delight to Kenny's heart than being a grandfather to Jamie Bicki, Jordan Bicki, Jayden Bicki, Wesley Schiellerd, Alex (Bianca) Schiellerd, Chase Hunter, Paige Hunter, Jacob Rouse, 6 great grandchildren, and even his beloved granddog Cosmo. He showered them with love and support.
Kenny will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, his zest for life, and his unforgettable presence. His unique blend of charisma and kindness touched the lives of countless people. He will be missed by the many communities he touched from the gym, The Drake, and event venues.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at The Drake Assisted Living and Atrium Hospice of Cabarrus County for their care and love over the years.
