John Glenn McKeon, Jr.

John “LJ” Glenn McKeon Jr was born in Angeles City, Philippines on October 19, 1989 to John Glenn McKeon Sr and Maria Luz Castillo Blackwell. A very intelligent young man, he was very kind, loving, sweet, thoughtful and caring to all. He was talented on the guitar, which he loved to play. He also loved animals, especially his cat “Mr. Charles”. “LJ” at only 33 was called home to our Lord on July 13, 2023. He is survived by his mother, Maria Luz Blackwell, father John Glenn McKeon Sr and stepfather Thomas
Blackwell. He will be greatly missed by all.

A wake with Celebration of Life will be held at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home (16901 Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078) on Sunday July 16 2pm – 5pm. Funeral Mass for LJ will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church (1400 Suther Rd, Charlotte, NC 28213) at 2pm. LJ will be laid to rest in Northlake Memorial Gardens.
