Jeanie Ann Erwin, 81, of Denver, North Carolina passed away on May 21, 2024.

She was a beloved mother and grandmother and is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clark Erwin; her daughter, Julie (David) Doss; her son, Scott (Joan) Erwin; five grandchildren, Alexandria Bonecutter, Tanner Doss, Taylor Doss, Joy Erwin, and Jenia Erwin; and her sister, Sally (Gary) Lebo.

Jeanie was born at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on July 28,1942 to the late Eldon and Joann Roten. Her father served in the United States Air Force and the family was stationed around the continental U.S., Hawaii, and Japan before settling in San Antonio, Texas.

She met her husband, Clark, while they were both studying to be educators at North Texas State University. Jeanie taught at several elementary public schools in Judson ISD for over 31 years before retiring to a cabin Clark built in the Texas hill country. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas and visited frequently over the years. Jeanie later relocated to Denver, North Carolina to be close to family.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
