Jean Page Wall

Jean Page Huff Wall, 81, passed away in Harrisburg NC. She was born October 19, 1941 in Richmond, Va. to the late Elsie Taylor Huff and Allen Carlisle Huff, Sr. She is preceded in death by husband Woodrow "Dick" Wall of Charlotte, NC and brother Allen "Buddy" Carlisle Huff, Jr. of Richmond, Va.

Before the effects of Alzheimer's disease, Jean was a wife, mother, and grandmother to family and a loyal companion to those she cherished as friends. She was a career educator having taught middle school students for twenty eight years. Jean was also an active church volunteer, choir member, and sunday school teacher. On weekends she enjoyed working puzzles, reading mystery thrillers, and playing with the grand dogs. Jean accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and we grieve with hope knowing we will see her again. 

Survivors include son William Wall, daughter Lynn Wall Edwards (Walt) of Harrisburg, NC; brother Byron Huff (Cindy) of Destin, Fl; and grandchildren Jonathan Wall (Whitney), Kirsten Moriarty (Patrick), and Lauren Mannikas all of Monroe, NC; Anaiis Wall; Daniel Edwards and Sarah Edwards of Harrisburg, NC; and great granddaughter Avery born the same day Jean went to heaven.
