Jason Paul Porter

Jason Paul Porter, 43, passed away May 15, 2019 in Matthews, NC. He was born on April 10, 1976 in Charlotte NC to Phillip and Paula Porter.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mamie Lee Porter, Jackson Charles Porter, and Roy Kenneth Haynes.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his children, Braiden, Harrison, Jaden, and Shayla; sister, Leah Porter Arwood (James); brother, Landon Porter; and a host of extended family and friends.

Known for being high-spirited, Jason made friends everywhere he went. He was full of energy, and always forgiving. He had a loving nature and always wanted his family together. Grilling out with his family was just one of the ways he enjoyed time with his family and friends. A huge Chicago Bears fan; Jason liked sports. Some people like their jobs, but Jason loved his job and was proud of his work.

A drop-in visitation will be held at Harrisburg Funeral & Cremation on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 2:30-4:00PM.

You can remember him and only that he is gone

or you can cherish Him memory and let it live on

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or

 you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
