Jarrod Kie, 43, passed away tragically September 16, 2023. Survived by his wife Michelle of 24 years, father Dave Bayless (Maryam), mother Carolyn Bayless, sons Kie (Madison), Jessy (Drew Bug) and Gage (Secily). Grandchildren Skarlette, Lincoln, Chevelle, Hess, Kingston, grandmother Lavina Kaufman and sister Samantha Bayless and his Bull Dog Diamond. Preceded in death by grandfather Charlie Bayless, grandmother Rose Gash and brother in law Jason Lee Masters.
Jarrod was born to Dave and Carolyn Bayless on January 5, 1980 in Pueblo Colorado. Jarrod was quite athletic, playing football (running back) in his younger years. Needing something with a little more excitement he switched to boxing in his mid teens, again displaying his natural God given talent. Jarrod had a love for all things motorized, owning many high-performance cars (including his dream supercar, a heavily modified ZR1) and motorcycles in his life. But Jarrod’s greatest love was for his family. He spent as much time as he could with his wife, children and later with his grandchildren.
After their children were raised, Jarrod and Michelle moved to Charlotte in 2022 to try some “Honeymoon” time. Jarrod and Michelle enjoyed time spent attending services at Freedom House Church, going to the beach, evening drives or just hanging out with each other. Though this was a time they enjoyed, they really missed the rest of the family and returned as often as possible to Colorado. Unfortunately, the honeymoon was cut short, and Jarrod left this life to be with his Lord and Savior.
Jarrod will be forever missed by his wife, parents, children, grandchildren and friends.
Celebration of life will be held Monday October 23, 2023 at 11:00 am at Praise Assembly of God Pueblo, CO .
