In the early evening of September 21, 2016, James Winton Hyche moved to heaven while surrounded by loved ones in Charlotte, NC.
James was born on June 20, 1981, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. For those who knew James personally, you were aware of his unrelenting work habit well. James would often work days and weeks back-to-back with little to no rest. He was not one for sitting. James always wanted to be moving and fixing, so as you can imagine, seeing such a strong and young-spirited man lying in a hospital bed for seven days was not easy.
"By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work." -Genesis 2:2 (NIV)
While we are devastated to lose such a vibrant spirit, we are elated to know James is no longer in pain.
James is survived by his wife, Heather Love Hyche; father, James Hyche; mother, Nancy Scott; sisters, Nancy Mangham and Amy Hyche; and brothers, Adam Hyche, Daniel Hyche, and Matthew Hyche.
In true James fashion, he expressly asked that no memorial service be held. He was never one for crowds and hated being the center of attention. Rather than any kind of visitation or funeral, James wanted friends and family to attend a Celebration of Life to be planned at a later date and time.
In lieu of flowers, please help Heather with medical expenses, cremation expenses, and moving expenses by donating to the following Go Fund Me page: https://www.gofundme.com/2peczfvu.
