Jack Larion Sexton, born on March 6, 1935, in Madison County, Georgia, passed away on April 21, 2025, at Tucker Hospice House. He enjoyed a commendable career as a brick mason for over 40 years, where his hard work and dedication earned him the respect of his peers and the community.
Jack was known as a good, God-fearing man who devoted his life to putting his wife and family first. His loved ones remember him as a man of great character, who found profound joy in both his family and his faith. He was a devoted member of Sloan Lake Community Church, where he cherished the fellowship of his fellow congregants.
In addition to his commitment to work and family, Jack had a zest for life that extended into the great outdoors. He loved fishing, particularly surf fishing at the coast, and had a remarkable ability to catch fish when others could not. His passion for nature and the tranquility it brought was a source of joy throughout his life.
Jack is survived by his sons, Scott Sexton and Shane Sexton (fiancé Lori Jordan). He leaves behind granddaughters Hannah Smith (husband Ryan), and Grace Sexton, along with his beloved great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Evelyn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, and eight siblings.
A graveside service to honor Jack's life will be held on April 25, 2025, at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove, North Carolina, beginning at 10:30 AM.
Jack Larion Sexton will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his labor, and his faith, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
