Gary Lane Seifert

Gary Lane Seifert, 80, passed away August 30, 2020 at his home in Harrisburg, NC.

Gary was born on June 20,1940 in La Junta, Colorado  to the late Gloyd and Norine Seifert.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Catherine, son Gary Jr and wife Tammy, daughter Deborah Ball and husband Jim, two beloved grandchildren Michael Weddington and Kayla Weddington, Stepmother Gladys Seifert, brother Darrel Seifert and wife Jerilyn of Cheyenne Wyoming, nieces Sherra St Clair and husband Mike and sons Samuel and Aiden, Erin Teague husband John and son Evan, niece Renee Fillette and her daughter Hanna and her sons Michael and Wyatt and granddaughter Kinsley, Brother in Law Frank Rinaudo of Tampa Florida.

Gary served in the Air Force in Newburgh, New York and Thule, Greenland. He worked at IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY,  Boulder, CO and Charlotte, NC. He had a private pilots license and loved to play piano and drums.  He played in local bands in Colorado and the Air Force band out of Newburgh NY. After retiring from IBM, he worked at Rocky River Golf Course  and enjoyed playing pool at Cabarrus Senior Center. Gary was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed.
