Frances Schecter

Frances Gasolofsky Schecter, 95, passed away on September 24, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC.

Frances was born November 1, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York to Sam and Sarah Gasolofsky. She was loved and adored by all.

Frances is survived by her sons Earle Schecter (Nan) of Charlotte, NC and Barry Schecter (Sharon) of Candor, NY; daughter Sheila Wengroff (Richard) of West Palm Beach, FL; sister Ceil Rapps; granddaughters Danielle Conte (Sean), Lindsey Kozecke (Jake), Lisa (Marcus) Rathbun, and Jennifer Bresney (Brian); and grandsons Joshua Schecter (Jennifer), Harold Pierce, Dr. Sean Wengroff and Jamie Wengroff.

She is preceded in death by her husband Louis Schecter and brothers Nathan Lewis, Irving Garshall, Leo Garshall, and Albert Garshall.

A graveside service will be held at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 6 pm. The service will be officiated by Rabbi Barbara Thiede.
