Frances O. Crawford

Frances Olene Davis Crawford, 80, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2019 in Concord, NC. She was born on April 14, 1939 to the late James and Kathleen Davis in Gastonia, NC. 

Along with her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her husband Harley Milton and sister Dixie.

She is survived by her son Eric Crawford(Jeania); grandson, Bryson Crawford; sister, Jane O'Conner(Michael); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Frances was a retired meat wrapper for Harris Teeter. She was a giving moment who always gave to others. If anyone was in need and she was able to provide, she did so with a selfless heart.

Frances lived by faith. She was a survivor of life's hardships. Beating breast cancer and the death of a husband, she never gave up.

An avid crafter, Frances enjoyed making everything from angels, quilts, needle work and so much more. Her cooking and backing were everyone's favorite. Her biscuits and German chocolate cake will be missed by many.

Frances was a caring mother and grandmother. Her son and grandson were the light of her life.

A celebration of Life will be held Saturday January 25, 2020  at Harrisburg Funeral & Cremation from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
