Elizabeth Hill Oates

Elizabeth Oates, 78, passed away on December 29, 2019 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC. She was born March 13, 1940 in Auburn, NY to the late William and Lucy Elder.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, John F. Oates, Jr. She is survived by her brother, James Elder (Bobbi); daughter Elizabeth Anne Oates; sons, Jeffrey Stephan Oates (Shelly), David John Oates (Laurie), and Patrick Thomas Oates; and seven grandchildren.

Elizabeth was known for her strong and loving personality. She was loved by many and will be missed.

A memorial service and internment will be held at Harrisburg Funeral & Cremation on February 16, 2019 at 1:00PM.
