Eduardo Enrique Pineiro Estrada, aged 94, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2024, at The Citadel at Mooresville in North Carolina. Born on January 22, 1930, in the vibrant city of Callao, Peru, Eduardo was a man of great character and spirit.

Eduardo is survived by his sons, Eduardo Enrique Pineiro Salas and Luis Alfredo Pineiro Salas, and his daughters, Jessica Milagros Francovig and Nelly Rosa Alvarado, son-in laws Manuel Alvarado and Gino Francovig, daughter-in-law Ilse Barros and his grandkids Manolo, Stuart, Erik, Julio Martin, Eduardo Jr. (EJ), Connie Patricia, and Luigi. His legacy will continue to live on through them and their families.

In his early years, Eduardo was an avid and skillful soccer player, earning the respect and admiration of those who enjoyed seeing him play. His passion for the game was evident in every match he played, and his peers considered him a great player.

Eduardo spent many years working for Centromin Peru before moving to the United States. He lived in Pennsylvania and Florida and finally settled in North Carolina, where he spent his final years.

Eduardo's life was marked by his unwavering strength, love for his family, and passion for soccer. His loved ones will forever cherish his memory and all who knew him.
