Dorothy Lorraine Wieck

Dorothy Lorraine Wieck, 96, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on June 11, 2023 in her home.

Dorothy was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 27, 1926 to the late John (Jack) Henry Webb and Edith Roseanna Webb.

Along with her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Frederick William Wieck, Jr.; her sister, Florence Fladhammer, numerous in-laws, one nephew and many close friends.

She is survived by her children; Patricia Lantis (Craig) of Charlotte, NC; Frederick Wieck III (Sharon) of Sun City, AZ; Ronald Wieck (Janet) of Hawley, MN; James Wieck (Elaine) of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren nieces and nephews and close friends.

A memorial gathering will take place for family and friends in Moorhead, MN sometime over the summer (the place and time to be announced).

Dorothy and Fred moved to Charlotte from Moorhead, MN on February 18, 2013 to live with their daughter and son-in-law. They attended Touchpoint Church in Fort Mill, SC and made many new friends there.

Dorothy had a wonderful impact on everyone she met with her vibrant smile and outgoing personality. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed on this side of Heaven.
