Diana Elaine Shields

Diana Elaine Shields, 55, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2016 at her home in Troutman, NC.

Diana was born April 5th, 1961 in Boston, MA to Joanne Zuberbuehler and her late father, Alexander Valys.  Diana was known for making the most of life and had an infectious laugh that was loved by all.  She spent her spare time gardening and loved being with her family, friends and pets.

Diana is survived by her husband Mark Shields of Troutman, NC; daughter, Elena Fox; brother Alex Valys (Stephanie) of CA; sister Anita Valys; and half-brother Phillip Valys.

A private memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
