David Lee Bell

David Lee Bell was born January 4, 1947, in Warren County GA to the late Robert Lee Bell Sr. and Lillie Mae Mayes Bell. David departed this life on Saturday February 24, 2024.

He was a loving husband, a devoted Dad and a positive presence in the lives of those around him. 

David accepted Christ at an early age at Greenwood Baptist Church.

At the age of twenty-one David relocated to Buffalo, NY where he met his lovely wife Deborah of forty years. 

David was known for being a dedicated worker. He was employed at Trico Products for twenty years, DNT Railroad and Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority where he later retired in 2010. 

David lived a very active lifestyle. He had a love for gardening, playing a game of chess, and was an avid jazz listener.

David is preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Lee Bell Jr. Aunt Clara Watkins

David leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Deborah Jean Bell,  two daughters Rashawndra (Aaron) Thomas of Charlotte, NC and Lakisha (Leslie) Parmer of Cheektowaga, NY; two Grandsons Nicholas Thomas and  John Sharp IV ; One aunt Ola Mae Wilson of Atlanta GA; One uncle Curtis Franklin of Atlanta Ga, brothers Willie(Deborah) Bell, and Gregory (Nita) Bell both of Warrenton Ga, Seven sisters Susie Curry and Hattie Bell of Warrenton GA, Annie Bell of Grovetown, GA, Evyone (the late Wilbert) Jones of Dunkirk MD, Edith Bell, Linda Bell, and Julia (the late Alfred) Bell of Atlanta GA; in laws Martha L Mackey and Hattie Irene Mackey of Buffalo, NY; Brother-In Law Willie L. Mackey (Delia) of Moyock NC; Seven Godchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved. David also leaves Miss Maya the family dog who is going to miss him dearly.
