Darnell Devon Leeson

Darnell Devon Leeson, 32, was called home by our Lord and Savior on April 12, 2021 in Charlotte, NC. He was born January 14, 1989 to Darnell (Kim) Marbury and Barbara (Dominik P. Vake) Leeson in Morgantown, WV.

Darnell was a truly remarkable man who loved life and his family. He graduated from the OIC Technical College in Fairmont, WV, in 2016 with a degree in Pharmacy Technology. He laid to rest the love of his life and the mother of his children, Brittany West, in November 2020. From their relationship, God blessed them with two precious children, Athiena, 8, and Darnell Junior, 1. Along with his parents,  Darnell leaves behind Johnnie (Chip) Washington who was like a Dad to to him; his siblings, Geavoni Diaz; Aiyanna Gonzalez, and Dominik Alfred Vake; nephew, Davian Diaz and Ariana Diaz; his paternal Grandparents, Wesley and Cynthia Dobbs; and several aunts; uncles; cousins; and dear friends!

Although Darnell’s life was cute short his impact on others will live on forever! His smile; his laugh; and wittiness will be remembered by the multitudes.
