Charles Lee Drake

Charles Lee Drake, 71, of Locust, NC went to meet Jesus on, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 after a brief stay at Universal Healthcare in Concord, NC.   Charles was born on December 27, 1944 in Albemarle, NC to the late Thurman C. Drake and Elgie Brooks Drake.  

He is survived by his sister Barbara Drake Jenkins of Locust, NC and special nephew Devin Shane Jenkins and wife, Wendi of Locust, NC.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his brothers Keith and Jerry Drake.

A graveside service for Charles will be held at the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3.   Dr. Kinney Wallace will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
