Carmen Azucena Cabrera

Carmen Azucena Cabrera, of Concord, NC, passed away at Levine Dickson Hospice House on June 9, 2016 at the age of 63.
 
Carmen was born on May 7, 1953 in Ecuador. Carmen was known as a lovely, brave, happy and generous mother.  She loved life and loved to sing and dance.  Carmen was known for her love of traveling and loving the outdoors.  She especially liked beaches and parks.  Her ability to be positive and celebrate life was admired by all her friends and family.
 
Carmen is proceeded in death by her husband Voltaire Escolona and her mother Carmen Cabrera.  She is survived by her daughters Paola and Grace, sons Erick and Andres, grandchildren Sthefany, Niccolito, Angelito, Pierito, Michael, Ethan, Evita and Skyler, son-in-laws Niccolo and Angel, daughters-in-law Veronica and Keyla, and sisters Guilla, Julieta, Lila, and Reina.

A visitation will be held at Raymer Kepner Funeral Home Friday June 10, 2016 from 5-9 pm.  A funeral mass will be held at St James Catholic Church Saturday June 11, 2016 at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Harrisburg Presbyterian Cemetery in Harrisburg, NC.
