Beverlee Cox Larrabee

Beverlee Cox Larrabee, 80, of Concord, NC passed away at Atrium-Cabarrus on December 27, 2021 following an extended illness.

Beverlee was born on March 19, 1941 in Hamlet, NC to the late James Edward, Sr. and Louise Dunn Cox.

Along with her parents, Beverlee is preceded in death by her brother, James Edward Cox, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Ginny Abbotts (Mark), son Kerry Larrabee (Cindy), grandchildren Ashley Bassett, Lauren Walker, Brooke Trussell, Brent Beeson and Elizabeth Bason, great grandchildren, Chloe, Jackson, Triston, Luke, Oliver, Elsie, Elijah, Beau, Whitley, Brooksley, brother Ansel Cox and Sister Harriette Cannon.

Beverlee was a loving mother and grandmother. She spent time as a missionary in the 1980s and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1988. Beverlee worked as a high school teacher for Richmond Senior High in Rockingham, NC for 25 years before retiring in 2005. She will be missed dearly by her friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Thursday December 30, 2021 at Harrisburg Funeral & Cremation.
