Arthur Pearson Dudney

Arthur Pearson Dudney, 78, of Charlotte, NC passed away on November 23, 2019 at Novant Medical Center in Matthews, NC.

Arthur was born on June 12, 1941 to the late Alton Percy and Maggie Dudney in Fair Bluff, NC.

Along with his parents Arthur is preceded in death by brothers Horace, Alton and Earl Dudney.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Jackie Dudney, son Randall Scott Dudney (Debbie), daughter Pam Blackwell (Ned), granddaughter Hillary Mink, four grandsons Spencer, Preston, Kyle, and Logan, great grandson Raymon Martin and sisters Ann Watts, Doris Stansberry, Margie Lee (Bobby).

Arthur loved music. He enjoyed singing and playing the piano at church. Throughout the years he was a member of three separate Gospel music groups. When he wasn't singing, he loved to travel and fish. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed.

The family will celebrate his life on November 29, 2019 with a visitation from 11 am - 12 PM and funeral service 12 PM at Sloan Lake Community Church. A graveside service and military honors will be at 2 PM at Sunset Memorial Garden in Mint Hill, NC.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sloan Lake Community Church or Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte.
